Technical course 2014 NETSCOUT RESELLER TECHNICAL TRAINING IN PRAHA, CZ

Bakotech invites for NETSCOUT RESELLER Technical Training, which will be organized in Praha, Czech Republic on 28.01-31.01.2014. This technical training is dedicated exclusively for Partners who has already signed NetScout partner agreement. Training will be related to newest solutions from NetScout portfolio such as nGeniusONE unified performance management console, Infinistream probes and nGenius Packet Flow Switches. The main goal is to enable presales engineers and make them familiar with NetScout configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting techniques through lecture, demonstration, and hands-on activities.

Day 1

Tuesday  January 28, 2014

09:00 – 18:00 NetScout reseller training part 1

Course objectives:

  • Understand the relationship between nGenius Service Assurance Solution and nGeniusONE
  • Overview of the Application Suite
  • Effectively monitor and troubleshoot performance issues related to key application services
  • Understand the Service dashboard which provides real-time, at a glance, holistic status visibility of all business services and their network and application components
  • The dashboard also delivers alarms and analytics-based, intelligent early warnings to enable IT organization to proactively and predictively protect service availability and performance
  • Performance Analysis enables comprehensive, multi-dimensional analysis of application and network performance in context with the performance of all dependencies. The nGeniusONE platform includes pre-defined Service Monitors for common enterprise services, a customizable Service Monitor to support user-defined service environments, and Understand the relationship between nGenius Service Assurance Solution and nGeniusONE
  • Overview of the Application Suite

Session Analysis enables session-level analysis with hop-by-hop transaction analysis
  • Understand a typical out of the box installation of an nGeniusONE system and, nGenius InfiniStream as though they were setting up a new system.
  • Review nGeniusONE and InfiniStream and to make ready for base level (not yet tailored to use cases – e.g. add user roles, change interface names, etc.) ready for unique customer deployment and specially provided use cases, based on simulated customer network, and course developed use case scenario.

Course objectives:

  • Working with nGeniusONE: Centered around hands-on activities, participants will build service hierarchies and learn logical triaging workflows, review visibility into complex multi-tier service delivery environments including elements such as servers, applications, users and networks
  • Understand the importance of Adaptive Session Intelligence™ (ASI) 2.0, NetScout’s next generation Deep Packet Inspection engine which generates highly scalable metadata that enable a comprehensive view of service, network, application, and server performance across complex multi-tier, multi-domain service delivery environments.
